How We Hire and Train

Boulevard Limousine understands that many people have concerns about hiring and using chauffeured ground transportation and limousine services. From the very initial contact clients make with our offices to placing reservations to transportation services being provided and on through to final billing, there are several points along the way that can cause some unrest. To put our clients at ease, we have a set of procedures in place for hiring and training all of our team members.


All employees hired by Boulevard Limousine undergo a thorough application and screening process before being offered a position within our organization. This pre-employment process includes criminal background checks, reference checks, and drug testing. After employment, we continuously train our staff on proper practices and safety as well as conduct random drug screening. We do this because our staff handles sensitive client information such as gate codes, billing information, and travel plans. Since our clients trust Boulevard Limousine with such valuable information, we must ensure that hire and employ only upstanding team members.


Chauffeurs must go through additional screening processes before employment and regularly throughout their career at Boulevard Limousine. Because client safety is a top priority, we expect our chauffeurs to maintain a clean motor vehicle driving record and good health. We oversee this by reviewing their MVRs prior to employment and annually and requiring them to be medically qualified through keeping a current Department of Transportation medical certificate. We will not place any of our valued clients in vehicles with someone who is not a safe driver nor medically qualified to operate motor vehicles commercially.


Boulevard Limousine chauffeurs are required to complete and pass a comprehensive training program consisting of a blend video, classroom, and on-the-road training and instruction. Topics covered include vehicle operation and safety, chauffeur etiquette, airport procedures, safe use of technology and cell phones, and local geography. We require our chauffeurs to have good geographic knowledge of the areas we serve and be able to properly operate a GPS device and use maps as guides. Additionally, we regularly update and train the chauffeurs on any new venues in the area, new regulations, and new safety procedures to ensure that we are able to provide the best, safest transportation service available.
