Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When do the Holiday Light Tours run?

A: Tours are available nightly from November 28 through December 30, 2026.

Q: How long are the tours?

A: Our most popular tour is the 2-hour Johnson County tour, but you can book longer or shorter tours and custom tours if desired. Minimum pricing does apply.

Q: What are the best times for the best rate?

A: Book a 2-hour Johnson County tour starting at 5:15 PM or 8:15 PM to receive special pricing. These must be reserved by phone and subject to pick-up location restrictions.

Q: Where can we be picked up?

A: The special discounted 2- hour Johnson County tours require pickup and drop-off in Johnson County, Kansas south of Shawnee Mission Parkway/63rd Street, north of 151st Street, east of Lackman/Blackbob and west of Roe. Some suggestions include restaurants near 119th and Metcalf like J. Alexander’s, restaurants near Corbin Park like Kyoto Sushi & Steak or Yaya’s Bistro, or Hen House in Olathe. We can also pickup at your home or hotel if it is in the specified pick-up zone. Custom tours may start anywhere in the Kansas City metro area.

Q: How do I book?

A: Call (913) 712-8375 to book the 2-hour Johnson County tour specials. Custom tours can be booked by either phone or using our online reservation form making sure to select “Holiday Light Tour” as the Type of Service.

Q: Where does the tour go?

A: If you book one of our 2-hour Johnson County tours, we have a set route with up to 8 different stops, depending on traffic, in Johnson County with pickup in the specified Johnson County zone (toggle question above). If you book a custom tour, you get to choose which location you would like to go and can be picked up anywhere.

Q: Do you go to the Plaza or Christmas in the Park (Longview Lake)?

A: On the two-hour Johnson County tours, we DO NOT go through the Plaza or Christmas in the Park. The entire tour remains in the core of Johnson County viewing some of the most awesome displays in the metro area. If you book a custom tour, we will help you create the tour you would like, including driving through the Plaza and Christmas in the Park. Please note that Christmas in the Park can have long lines in excess of an hour getting in, so it is best to start your tour early and go their first to avoid the longest lines.

Q: Do you drive through Winter Magic?

A: Winter Magic is only a possible tour stop on a custom tour and has a fee associated with driving through that display. It is the responsibility of the passengers to purchase an appropriate pass for the vehicle being utilized for access to Winter Magic. Winter Magic passes must be purchased in advance and a date and time must be chosen. Like Christmas in the Park, there can be considerable wait times at Winter Magic and that time waiting in line can eat into your overall tour time.

Q: Do you allow food and drink?

A: We do allow drinks in all our vehicles, but there are some restrictions regarding alcoholic beverages due to various laws. Because of the busy holiday light tour season, the frequency of tours that we do and the potential for airborne food allergies, all food is PROHIBITED, including snacks for children, during the Holiday Light Tour season. Please keep in mind that any spillage may result in additional fees being charged for cleaning, especially if cleanup results in a service delay for the next tour.

Q: Can we extend our tour if there is traffic?

A: On the two-hour Johnson County tours, we are unable to extend the length of the tour.

On custom tours, with some of the more popular displays such as Christmas in the Park at Longview Lake and Winter Magic, a considerable amount of time can be spect sitting in line waiting to get into the display. This time does count towards your tour time. If a considerable amount of time is spent sitting in traffic and you would like to extend your time to see additional displays, that is possible assuming the vehicle and chauffeur are available to extend the tour. Additional time will be billed at that vehicle’s hourly rate pro-rated in half-hour increments. It is not guaranteed that the chauffeur and vehicle will be available, but we will make every effort we can to serve you.

Q: What is your deposit and cancellation policy?

A: For all vehicles except for Executive Sedans and Executive SUVs, due to the popularity of the 2-hour Johnson County holiday light tours, 100% payment is due at the time of booking with no refunds given, even for cancellation, unless we are able to rebook that tour in that vehicle. For Custom Tours, a 50% non-fundable payment will be charged to the payment card provided with the remaining balance charged to the payment card provided approximately 7 days prior to the date of your tour. For sedans and SUVs, payment will be charged to the card provided 1-2 days prior to the date of your tour. Due to the popularity of our tours, all payments are final and any cancellations or rescheduling will result in forfeiture of any payments received.
